I'd have to say, this is sooooo bad. Very bad. Super bad... no UBER bad!!
Finals are coming up in less than 48hrs, but I just can't focus. I don't know where all my drive went. Maybe it wasn't 8 hours before the exam yet? Could that be it? *sigh* Maybe I just can't work without pressure?
Gee... I wanna do good on these exams... I MUST do good on these exams!! But I don't know where my drive went... ick...

No seriously, I've been eyeing the Kindle for such a long time. Ever since it first came out, I've wanted it. When I was in the States and whenever I see somebody holding a Kindle, I would go over and ask them about the machine. It seems like most of the people love it and it's a great thing to have. Unfortunately, back then, you can't purchase ebooks wirelessly if you're outside of the country. But guess what? They finally got that going!! So not only can you have a Kindle shipped to Canada, you can also purchase ebooks wirelessly. OMG!!
Did I say I want that little machine? Gee... I want it!! So SO want it! But I'm so broke. I'm set on buying a treadmill in 2 weeks or so, and then possibly an SLR Digital Camera. And that's going to get me totally broke, and now I want a KINDLE!!!
*sigh*
BTW, I just realized that Barnes and Noble came out with their version of an eReader called Nook. I read a little about it on their website and then went off trying to find comparisons between Nook and Kindle and found this article. So according to that blog post the 2 machines are at a tie.
Really? Kindle has been out for so long, although the 2nd generation was out for a year or so and the international version only very recently... Barnes and Noble comes out with their own version and it ONLY TIES with the Kindle? I'm sorry, but that's kind of lame. They've had all the advantages on picking out all Kindle-user complaints and yet, their machine wasn't far superior?
Gee... that's FAILURE in my books.

It was a day when I didn't get enough sleep. Ok, I know, you're probably thinking: "Since when did Deborah get enough sleep?" But really, I slept for about 3-4 hours and then woke up, and couldn't go back to sleep until much later. And I was only able to sleep for about 30 mins or so.
But the day was fun. Went to the bank to get my investments stuff settled, then went out with my friend drinking and watched the movie New Moon. I wrote a review here if you're interested.
The movie was ok, but the drinking was good. Except that we went to an izakaya, and it was LOUD!!! We couldn't carry on a conversation without screaming... and now my throat is sore... >_<

well, nothing is perfect which I totally understand, but....it is just..........sad.

Surprisingly, I had a pretty productive day today. I haven't had such a productive day for a long while. At least not since I stopped working overnight/graveyard shifts. Not only did went to see a banker about potential investments (small investments, mind you, to get more interest instead of ziltch), I also went to Canadian Tires in search for the treadmill I wanted. And guess what~~!! I found it!! Not only that, but I also found out that it's going on sale soon, so that I'll just wait a couple of weeks until I go and buy it.
And then, I went to have 荳漿 and 牛利蘇 too. I was craving for that for a long time now, but I just couldn't ever find time to go get it. It's pretty much the best 牛利蘇 in town here... but then again, not many places make them anymore in Vancouver. I'll be blogging about it in my food blog soon... just not today.
It was frustrating when i first got a call from work to have to go back for some competition HR made up. To be honest, I thought it was kind of stupid. I still think so, especially when people are called in on their off days to go to work for 30 mins just to participate, but luckily, it was fun. And on the bright side of things, if I wasn't called to work for 30 mins at 7:30 in the morning, I wouldn't have gotten this much done.
But still, it was annoying to have to drive 30 mins there and then another 30 mins back for a 30 min little competition. Oh, and did I mention that my pay for that 30 mins won't cover my gas and parking money? -_-|||

Ok, What happened to me today?
I woke up at 11pm.........so quilty. my working time should be started at 9pm, hahaha.
BUT, I got reason!!! I was sick + 始終存在的過敏 + 大姨媽來.
Was really really really umconfortable for whole morning, and afternoon.
Went to bank to open office account, I seriously feel that my boss is lucky, she is the one who wants to open a office, but I am the one who is running around. URGH!!
But, 先苦後甘is always correct.
今天六合彩開獎，我叔叔都有在玩，我贊助他，哈哈 贏了５０ＲＭＢ
and then, I finally got the laptop which sent it from USA, I was using online outlook for 3 months, I can't describe how sux to use that stupid thing, finally!! Out IT figure out that the best way to help me is send a laptop which has all be settle down to me.
Got a lot of works to do start tomorrow, I know. But still better than using that stupid thing.
Deborah, I actually liked my home now, not the world outside this room for sure, but the room is cute. Hope u can come here one day.

To be honest, starting this blog was kinda weird, but in a good way. To share a blog with a best friend... :) It's going to be fun. We'll have to keep it up, and if either of us don't, we'll have to make sure the other one does.
So... what did I do today?
Well, nothing important really. Woke up, went to lunch, did some minor shopping, went to the bank, just normal stuff. But I was really excited today, because it's the Cycle 13 Finale of the America's Next Top Model (ANTM) show. And for once, my favorite contestant won!!!
GO NICOLE!!!
I absolutely love her. She's so beautiful and deserving of the title, unlike most of the past winners of ANTM. Some people said that Laura, who came in second, should have won, because she has a better personality and a better "story." Well, you know, I just think that's kind of dumb. This is a model contest, not a personality contest or a pity contest, so obviously the model with the best portfolio should win! I know that in many of the past cycles, the judges chose personality over talent, but that's just wrong, and for once they finally did something right!!
I'm just so happy. So let me scream once again:
GO NICOLE!!! TEAM NICOLE!! YOU'RE THE BEST NICOLE!!
AND CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING THE AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL TITLE!! YOU DESERVED IT!!
